Presentation of the project in which Maestro Bocelli and the Pontifical Council are co-starring

In the year dedicated to reflection on the family, strongly desired by Pope Francis, H.E. Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, and Maestro Andrea Bocelli will present, on Saturday May 16th, the project: The Great Mystery. The Gospel of the Family, School of Humanity for our Times, produced by CitySound & Events, Milan.

This is a series of events that will be held in several European cities, in order to attract the attention of the civil and ecclesial communities to the charm and beauty of love between man and woman, of the family and of the many values they evoke. Each event will begin in the city square, a common meeting place for all and conclude, for those who wish, in the cathedral.
Music and words will intertwine. Maestro Bocelli—who has chosen pieces from the great sacred and secular musical tradition—will perform them, accompanied by the most prestigious European orchestras and choirs.
The President of the Pontifical Council and the Archbishop of the host city will have the task of joining moments of reflection to the performance.
The first evening will be on 28 May, in the beautiful church of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, with a catechesis by Cardinal Llovera Sistach, who was present at the press conference.
Among the various dates set for 2016, Krakow, Poland, has already been confirmed.
On the official website, www.ilgrandemistero.com, you can download a number of in-depth presentations and materials, find information, and book tickets—always absolutely free of charge.
