Family, world patrimony of humanity?   versione testuale
A Conference in Paris celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family

“Family, world patrimony of humanity?” - This question serves as the theme of the afternoon of discussion organized by the Centre Catholique International de Coopération avec l’UNESCO (International Catholic Center of Cooperation with UNESCO) May 15 in Paris commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the International year of the Family.

The conference will benefit from the contribution from relevant NGOs, invited by the organizers to give their opinions and proposals in response to problems threatening the family. The object of the meeting is to defend the family as shared patrimony in the dynamic state of modern society where it finds itself in increasing danger, as seen for example in issues such as widespread poverty and increasing elderly populations.
