A beautiful initiative to support the next Synod on the Family (4-25 October), under the titled inspired by the Synod‘s theme, "The Vocation and the Mission of the Family in the Church and in the Contemporary World," is being sponsored by the Diocese of Brescia. The initiative will include several prayer meetings to be held, from 19 September to 31 October, in all the local parishes and spiritual centers.
 
The program will begin with the inauguration on 19 September, at the official opening of the year for family ministry and the presentation of the year‘s agenda, and be followed by novenas and moments of Eucharistic adoration that will promote and accompany the work of the Synod Fathers. The initiative will finally conclude with a Mass of thanksgiving for the Synod, on 31 October, at 9:00 pm, at the Paul VI Pastoral Center, in Brescia.
