"Grace is active not only at the time of the celebration of the sacrament of marriage but also accompanies the married couple throughout their lives, since it is a permanent sacrament in analogy with the Eucharist." This is just one of the many observations present in the Reports of the Synod‘s Working Groups—in this case the Italian Group—that summarize the discussion of 12 and 13 October, focused on the second part of the Instrumentum Laboris.
