The 2015 European Forum on Demography is being held in Budapest, from 5 to 7 November.
 
The meeting, which will be attended by many scholars, politicians and representatives of Europe‘s civil society, will especially focus its reflection on the central role of the family in the development of human society.
The President of the Pontifical Council, Archbishop Paglia, will attend the opening ceremony and bring the message of the Secretary of State, Card. Pietro Parolin, with words of encouragement from Pope Francis. All the work will be followed by the Dicastery‘s Undersecretary, Msgr. Carlos Simon Vazquez.
