True omnipotence consists in having the compassion as God does for each person: this is how God shows His love and His paternity to man. During the general audience, Benedict XVI compared God the Father to a human father, who often carries out his role in the context of broken families and overwhelming concerns that "can prevent a peaceful and constructive relationship between fathers and children."
