TANZANIA
Tanzania: No more Child Brides
No marriages at a very young age. This has been said by the Constituent Assembly of the women who met in Dodoma in order to take a clear stance on issues to be included in the new constitution. According to Valerie Msoka, Executive Secretary of the Tanzania Media Women Association (TAMWA), women should unite their efforts to end excessively early marriage, a fundamental violation of human rights that has a tremendous impact on all aspects of a girl’s life.

RWANDA
Imbabazi: From Orphanage to Pre-school
Created in the aftermath of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis, by the 82-year-old Rosemond Carr, the Imbabazi Foundation, one of the oldest orphanages in Rwanda, has now become a pre- school. The objective is to keep alive Roz’s legacy of supporting children and also working in line with the governmental reforms for their care.
