The Family According to the Fathers of the Church   versione testuale
The Documents section of our site is enriched with new important contributions: a few days ago, a new section containing a collection of works of the Church Fathers dedicated to the family was put on line.

From St. Clement of Alexandria to St. Augustine of Hippo, the texts that we present, in three languages (Italian, English, and French) and with some differences in the content (the languages do not consistently have the same authors), are intended to help men and women of the twenty-first century to deepen the unchanging truths related to the state of married life and the family. The Fathers of the first four centuries after Christ sought, with diligence and passion, to translate these truths into practical advice, in order to improve the daily relationships inside and outside the family, at a time that, in some ways, has much in common with ours.
