Between Motherhood and Entrepreneurship   versione testuale
Until May 8th, meetings on women for the second Mother's Week are being held at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum

Seminars, workshops, and meetings on specific topics are intended to give concrete support to mothers, with a promise of expanding their community and the network of associations, businesses and institutions that support mothers. All this is a part of the second Mothers' Week, conceived and promoted by Valore Mamma, a project of the Institute of Higher Studies on Women, until May 8th, at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. Today a conference on "Entrepreneurship and new business opportunities for mothers in the food sector" will bring together representatives of institutions, associations and organizations involved in this significant field.

The Rector of the Regina Apostolorum, Fr. Jesus Villagrasa and Marta Rodriguez, Director of the Institute of Higher Studies on Women (ISSD), will be among the speakers. The topic "The Food as a sector of growing business" will be addressed by Carmen Gonzo, of the European University of Rome, the business consultant Sabrina Fattori, and Paul Fedi, of the cooperative non-profit organization La nuova Arca.
On May 6th and 7th, a two-day conference, sponsored by WWALF - Word Women's Alliance for Life and Family and ISSD, will be dedicated to "Maternity Yesterday and Today: What solutions for a mother-friendly society"; the theme of the first day will be "The Body and Maternity."
