The strength of weakness  Witness before the world to the tie between fragility and love. This is the invitation addressed to the elderly by John Paul II in Austria in 1988
The sick and the elderly were encouraged to overcome indifference and neglect in order to fulfill their vocation of always reminding their neighbor of the deep meaning of human life. During this pastoral visit, in 1988, the Polish Pontiff recognizes in physical frailty an opportunity to encourage all to act with love and solidarity.
