Faithful Voices, Farsighted Hearts   versione testuale
From 10 to 12 September, the International Symposium sponsored by the International Academy for Marital Spirituality

"Faithful Voices, Farsighted Hearts. Marriage and Family in the Church and in Society." This is the theme of the International Symposium organized, from 10 to 12 September at the Congress Centre "Fontana di Trevi" at Piazza della Pilotta, by the International Academy for Marital Spirituality (INTAMS), a non-profit organization created in Belgium in 1989.

Addressed to all, with simultaneous translation into English available, "the Symposium—explain the promoters—was created with the aim of developing a reflection, as well as new perspectives, on issues that need to be addressed, such as the relationship between doctrine and pastoral practice, the sense of the faithful, the ethics of mercy, and the indissolubility of a theology of marriage in the contemporary context. At the end of the last Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, Pope Francis called the entire Church to embark on a journey in search for concrete solutions to the many challenges that families face. INTAMS gratefully accepted Pope Francis' invitation and intends to share the results of its reflection on the eve of next October's Ordinary Assembly of the Synod of Bishops."
