An Observatory on the Family  A virtual place of solidarity in defense of life and the family
 The Observatorio Internacional de Políticas Públicas y Familia (International Observatory of Public Policies and the Family) was created on the web, in Spanish, as a service to Latin American countries at the initiative of the Fundación de Cultura Latina (Latin American Foundation for Culture), with the aim of « providing a general and updated overview of the political and legal situation of life and the family in Latin American countries». The site presents facts and in-depth information concerning laws, court rulings and topical cases. «The awareness and the visibility of the common problems inevitably increases the feeling of solidarity necessary for outlining common strategies that will promote agreement among the citizens on the imperishable values that open the way for the human person to a full and responsible life», the promoters say.
