"Enlivening families by encouraging fraternal encounters, sharing and reflection on Christian teachings and values, life and the family." With this aim, the Episcopal Family and Life Commission and the National Commission for Family Ministry of the Brazilian Bishops' Conference have published two resources: "The Family's Time" and "The Time of Life." These booklets, available at
www.lojacnpf.org.br , are useful for accompanying the celebrations of the National Family Week, which ends in Brazil on 15 August, and the National Week of life, 1-7 October, which concludes on the following day with the Day of the Unborn.
The 2015 edition of "The Family's Time" corresponds to the theme of the World Meeting, and the cover shows Pope Francis celebrating the family in the midst of happy children and balloons.
"The Time of Life" is a reflection "The Gospel of Life: To Proclaim, Celebrate and Serve," and it proposes seven encounters, with different approaches, for celebrating life on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of St. John Paul II's Encyclical "Evangelium Vitae."
