Christ is risen. And the family too will rise again! The family too rises from this Passover, which is the mystery of a Love that has defeated sin and death.
We all want to live forever in love. May this Easter be a precious opportunity for rediscovering the deepest and truest root of our families and give once again to our daily lives the intense and vats dimension that the risen Jesus offers to each person in his wish for peace at all.
Pope Francis urges to take care of each other. This is care that makes me say to the many wounded families that it is possible to rise again, that nothing is lost. Do not forget that the risen Jesus still bears the wounds in his body.
Few days ago I had the opportunity to spend a few moments with Pope Francis. My mother was with me, and the Pope embraced and kissed her tenderly. He assured that he would personally pray for the families of the world, and he encouraged the Pontifical Council to continue the work of service and proximity to all families, whether Christian or not.
The family is Jesus’ good news to the world. I wish to all families that they may rise together with Jesus.
