Pope Francis, the greeting the participants of the “March for Life”, which took place in Rome on May 12th: «I invite you all to stay very attentive to the important issue of respect for human life from the moment of its conception. In this regard, I am pleased to recall the signature-collection campaign currently in progress in many Italian parishes, in support of the European initiative “One of Us”, aimed at ensuring legal protection to the embryo, protecting every human being from the first moment of his/her existence. A special moment, particularly for those who care about the defense of the sanctity of human life, will be the “Evangelium Vitae Day” that will take place here in the Vatican, in the context of the Year of Faith, on June 15th and 16th».
