The first time with the Pope! We, the whole staff of our Council, including the President, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, the Secretary, Msgr. Jean Laffitte, the priests and lay people who serve here, were in Santa Marta, the Pope’s residence, this morning to participate in the Holy Mass, which he presided. At the end, we all had the great joy of being able to greet him, one by one, and to receive his smile, his blessing and the assurance of his prayers for all the world’s families.
