What rights for the family?   versione testuale
Msgr Paglia in Luxemburg

On March 18th, the Archdiocese of Luxembourg held a conference entitled: What rights for the family?, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of the Charter of the Rights of the Family. The task of presenting the theme and the significance of the challenges that the text of the Charter continues to offer to contemporary society was entrusted to His Excellency Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia. When presenting the initiative, Archbishop Jean-Claude Hollerich, said that the President of the Pontifical Council for the Family would present the Charter and its role, which very timely, since it aims to valorize, promote and protect the rights of the family, which is an essential resource for our society.

During the conference, Msgr. Paglia dwelt at length on the value of the family in the context of the difficult and complex contemporary world, hurt and tested by growing individualism that threatens the “primary” we that a man and a woman can express, that of the family nucleus.
